The educational and methodology manual «Restoration of dental hard tissues in a therapeutic dentistry clinic» was written by a team of authors of the St. Petersburg State University Department of Therapeutic Dentistry and translated into English that allows expanding the circle of readers and educating foreign students. That teaching aid highlights the physical and chemical properties of up-to-date filling materials: composites and glass ionomer cements, examines the indications for their use in clinical practice. We have paid special attention to a classifications of adhesive systems, working details depending on the generations.
